I have 6 different freqs in my fto. Each has an "a" and "b" tones for those freqs. My question is, does the scanner scan these fto freqs or does it only monitor the one displayed on the screen? I could swear it used to scroll thru them automatically.

I read in one place it does not, yet read somewhere else it would monitor all 10 in the fto bank..

I want to know if I can do this?

fd 1 478.2358 a 601.2 b789.2
fd 2 467.3000 a2300. b2512.0
etc
etc

you can do up to 10 fto's on THE SAME FQ. only. it will not accept multiple fq's.

That really BLOWS.. Most of what I listen to is on Uhf and have their own freqs. I really don't pick up the 46.46 county wide dispatch freq from where I am. Is this the same on the 396 also?

The scanner will only standby on a single frequency at a time. It can decode multiple programmed tone sets per frequency, but if you're trying to have it monitor (scan) multiple frequencies at the same time, not gonna happen.

It's the same on all DMA models.
