I picked up a BR330T a while back with firmware V1.03.06 on it. I’ve been scanning fine now for several months and haven’t bothered updating the firmware to the latest version. I did download it before I received the scanner wanting to make sure I was running the “latest and greatest”, but got so excited when I got it, that I just dove right in and didn’t bother updating it. So the zip file’s just waiting to be played with. So the question is, should I bother? I live in Central MA and haven’t “noticed” any rebanding having an effect on my listening just yet. Any insight on this would be appreciated. If more info is needed to answer please feel free to hit me up.
