I have a quick question about one of my BR330t's. I have two of these, one of them seems like it "skips" when receiving transmissions, and I only catch every other word. The other one I have works great and doesn't "skip". Is this something that needs to be adjusted programming wise, or just the operation of the unit itself.

Thanks...

If it is every 2 seconds, then either Close Call Priority or Channel Priority is turned on.

If it is every 5 seconds, then WX Priority is turned on.

Eric, if what Paul has suggested doesn't help, it might be time to dump the programming into a UASD file and post it. Let others take a look at it and see what might be flaky. Fortunately most all the better programs that support the DMA scanners can import UASD files, so this is an easy way to diagnose issues.

It' s weird, I have them both programmed the exactly the same and only one does it. I deleted the Wx Priority and it helped a little. After I removed the priority, it works 10x better. Anybody know why this is...

On another note, I am thinking about hooking on of these units up to a remote head in my truck. Now my question is if I manually have to turn the scanner on every time I get in the truck. I plan on having it's power source be ignition switched, so I am wondering if it will kicked on each time power is applied.
