It does indeed appear that Bradley County Fire - Rescue, or at least the supervisors, use the digital talkgroup 33456 on the Chattanooga TRS. I have heard several runs the last couple months and the chatter seems to confirm this. They still use their VHF freqs for 99% of stuff. What I hear in digital is talk about roads, directions and a few extra nuggets of info you might not otherwise hear. Sounds like the 800MHz tower on White Oak Mnt. north of I-75 does decent job covering the western side of the county with portables.
I've heard the same kind of chatter on 33424, and I'm leaning toward this being another BCFR group but haven't heard enought yet to be sure.

well now...

I'm starting to wonder if BCFR is the sole user of this 33456 TG, if it's someone elses group or if the Chattanooga radio shop gave out a bunch of radios for Bradley County gov't agencies to "try out." The latest volley of traffic I'm hearing sounds more like they are sheriff deputies, possibly even people with DTF. We'll see, but keep your ears on.

I'm just getting sparatic use on 33456. I monitor this in the office during the day. I heard someone today talking about going over to Jonson Blvd to pick up some grounding wire or something. I'm getting the same thing with 33360, 33232,33296, 33328,and I've had a few hits on TGID 17456.

Me too...

I have heard traffic on 33296 that seems to be Cleveland PD? They talk about getting new radios and give locations in the city. It's definately public safety, likely law enforcement. Anybody in Cleveland/Bradley County notice 800Mhz antennas on cars?

I've been getting two other TGID's to pop up recently; 33424 and 33392.

Time to "sticky" thread this stuff?

Methinks the digital talkgroup 33424 is for future Bradley County EMS use, or at least that's who seems to be chatting here today. They are 500 numbered units like EMS on 150.890MHz, they're talking about their new radios (they seem to be a smashing success amongst the crews chatting) and about sitting in the station near I-75, which is where the Paul Huff Parkway EMS station sits. And by using just one tower on White Oak Mnt. so far it appears they will have good coverage when the Oswald Dome and Charleston towers go up.
Is it time to make "Chattanooga Regional Trunked System" a sticky thread since it's obvious the buildout and additions of agencies under way? I'm kind of surprised to hear so much new activity from Bradley County lately considering Walker and Dade counties in Georgia are supposed to be next in line to join the Chattanooga system?

Very cool. As more info is confirmed please keep those submission coming! So TN will have one active regional system, and one on the books for the Southeastern section of the state. Seems like a lot of folks learned form the STARnet in TX as MS has a two county regional system growing too with an additional two talking about joining in. Makes interesting listening.

Cleveland PD

It seems apparent the digi talkgroup 33296 is Cleveland PD. Today, several 3300 units were giving each other radio checks on their mobile and portable radios. They liked what their ears heard in terms of audio.
Since 33424 is EMS, can anyone ID 33328, 33360, 33392, 33456 that have been active with chatter lately?

I love this site..... Will this be on the Chattanooga 800 system? So I can add a new group to the Chatt/Ham system?
