Hi ,
Listening to a fire on Kennedy road in Brampton and my question is this; When sectors call in position in relation to the structure i'm assuming alpha side is front facing ( street side or front door ) , now is bravo side to the left (clockwise from front ) or opposite alpha (rear or back door) and the same for charlie and delta ?
Thanks,
Ron.

Actually A, B, C, D are the exposures.

Fire attack, rescue, RIT for example would be sectors that tie into fire ground accountability systems.

Alpha side is primary staging side (Side of first due apparatus) which is NORMALLY the front/address side of the building.

Bravo to Delta are going around the structure clockwise from this position. If there is more than 4 sides, well, there is Echo, Foxtrot, etc. But that can get confusing, and IC normally sections it off another way...

Interestting, talked to a local firefighter recently, who said Ottawa uses side 1-4
for outside and A-D etc. for inside walls.
