I know Brantford police is Pro voice (thought I'd Mention it b4 anyone points it out), but lately I have been hearing them "bleed" onto other frequencies... would anyone know anything about this, or has had thisd happen with their scanners with Pro voice systems? And yes it was the police that i was hearing was the next thing being pointed out.. Not trying to be a smart ass, but some people like to argue..

How do you mean bleed onto other frequencies? Can you share a little more detail? Other frequencies on their trunked system? What type of scanner are you using?

Yes I know they are ProVoice... they have been for quite some time. If you hear them from time to time then it's likely on a patch to 142.770, at patch of some sort with OPP perhaps or maybe on one of the I-Call/I-Tac channels.

Could they be OPP Conventional frequencies?
They used to be (and could still be, i dont really monitor them anymore) active with 'intersting chat.'
Brant Co is patrolled by the OPP outside of Brantford, you could be hearing them.

Dig up your old logs and perhaps some of us can shed some light and figure out what you used to hear.
