Not much information at the moment, a buddy of mine from the Brawley PD stated that they are changing to a new system on 1-1-19. Anyone else heard of this change?

The RCS will be turning up the Next Generation (P25) network in 2019. He is probably using the published date that all non-P25 radios have to be off the network by 1-1-19.
The change will be (mostly) transparent to the Brawley users, as Imperial County is predominantly digital now.
