I just noticed that the 2 links in the Breaking News and Alerts in the sticky are no longer valid. http://forums.radioreference.com/ohio-incidents-breaking-news/49901-breaking-news-alerts.html

Now to my question, what constitutes news worthy postings in that thread?

Miami Valley Breaking News is now Ohio News Alerts. Ohio News Alert Network As far a criteria for ONA it is more about larger newsworthy information, such as Working Structure fires, Motor Vehicle accidents that involve. 3 Medic units or entrapment or a Helo response or Fatal or unique accidents that the big news agencies would be interested in. If you or anyone else is interested in becoming a Dispatcher or turning in Tips there is info listed on the page. Most generally grass fires and vehicular fires aren't really news worthy. . Possibly we can get one of the Ohio Mods to change the link or make a new up to date Sticky on it. Hope this helps
