You work for Bradford County. I just looked on FHP Website and it is south of Lake Bulter near CR239A. Also three ATUs. I didn't realize that there was also a tractor trailer involved. Didn't hear that til the six o'clock newscast on ABC25. I will stay posted to the news on ABC25 to let you all know what is going on as the information becomes available.

Here's some info from the Shands website:
Eight patients have been transported to Shands HealthCare hospitals as a result of a bus accident that took place earlier this afternoon in Union County. Seven of the eight patients are children ranging in ages from five to 16.

Five patients are being treated at Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Currently, two are in critical condition and three are in serious condition.

Three patients are being treated at Shands Starke in Starke, Florida, and all are in good condition.

Was flipping throught channels and saw the story. It is a shame kids die in the crash. It is mess I see very bad thing to see if 7 people died that is too much..... I know a few public safety here in St Aug and St Johns Co. I hardly see them since they work all the time. I have taped a crash when 2 guys were being chased and hit a ditch than airbone than hit a mobile home and one guy landed on the mobile roof and the other in the yard I have them on my site. I wonder who fault was at the crash in Lake Butler?

It was actually a pontiac car, not a van.

So far units on scene were:
Union County:
SO, R1, R3, R4, 501, other Volunteer units
Bradford County:
SO, M1, M2, M4, and 601
Helicopters:
ShaindsCair 1, Trauma 1 Jax, Trauma 1 Lake City, and the 4th possibly Air Medic 1 out of Perry.

As far as I know, no Alachua or Columbia county units responded (or got on scene)

I also saw on the news that Lawtey FD was on the scene Engine 50.
Correct. Just spoke with some more people. In addition to Union County EMS, they had Lake Butler Fire Dept, and Union County's Squad and engine. From bradford county were Brush 46, Engine 41 and Engine 50.
