Breaking News - Explosion downtown Calgary

Reports of an explosion in a condo in Inglewood as of 19:45 tonight, possibly gas service/furnace related. Indications from radio traffic implies there are injuries and major damage to the building. Listen to CFD C14, EMS A4 for more information.

One reported injury which may or may not have self-sought medical help elsewhere. The explosion was apparently not a recent event; a friend came by to check on the injured party and found the damage as a result.

This one keeps getting odder. The media is now reporting that they are investigating a "small fire" in an Inglewood home "last Wednesday" that was at the same home as the man who was last seen alive on Tuesday night at home. His car, which went missing at the same time, was found in southeast Calgary. This (the topic of this thread) is the only fire I know of in Inglewood on Wednesday the 8th. :?

Yeah that is getting odder, really looks like the stories are starting to intermingle with eachother, a "Townhouse" is mentioned in today's CFCN story and the time frame given in Citybeat fits. I almost fully bet it could be the incident you heard but I guess we'll see.
