Bridge Hit on I-465 Rockville road.

Tues 1/10/17 9:24 AM Northbound I-465 at the 12.9 milemarker Rockviile road has been hit by a semi. Major damage to the bridge. INDOT traffic cams are showing a portion of the bridge hanging down into the northbound lanes. ISP, IMPD Southwest, Wayne Twp Fire and INDOT on the scene. location will be closed down until INDOT gets a crew together to look at the bridge. IMPD Southwest has eastbound and westbound Rockviile road closed over I-465. Radio traffic is on ISP Dist 52, IMPD SW, Also talking about closing down I -70 at I-465 near the airport. ISP has 4 Troopers on scene. Time the accident happened was at 8:06AM.

Update at 10:14AM Tues 1/10/17 I 465 Northbound at the 12.9 milemarker Rockville road will be closed for 1 week, Severe damage to the bridge. Also I 465 at I-70 near the airport northbound will be closed.

I-465 opened to northbound traffic around 12:30 pm today. Most of the local TV stations updated their online stories during the afternoon.
