We're excited to announce a completely redesigned Feed Archives interface on Broadcastify. The archives interface has been rebuilt from the ground up with a modern, streamlined design that makes browsing, playing, and downloading archived radio traffic easier than ever.

What's New

Unified Browse & Play
No more jumping between pages to find and play archives. The new feed archives page combines the date browser, archive list, and audio player all on one screen. Click any archive block and it loads instantly into the waveform
player — no page reload required.

Advanced Waveform Player
The visual waveform player (previously an opt-in feature) is now the default player for all archives. Features include:
  • Interactive waveform visualization with minimap overview
  • Transport controls — play/pause, skip forward/back 5 seconds, previous/next archive
  • Volume and zoom sliders
  • Continuous playback — archives automatically advance to the next block when finished
  • Keyboard shortcuts — Space (play/pause), Arrow keys (seek/volume), N/P (next/previous archive)
24-Hour Timeline
A visual timeline bar at the top of the page shows archive coverage for the selected day at a glance. Each half-hour slot is filled when an archive is available — click any slot to jump directly to that archive. Hover for time
tooltips.

Improved Date Navigation
Browse archives by date with the new inline date picker. Use the previous/next day arrows or the Today button to quickly navigate between days.

Most Played Archives
The archives landing page now features Most Played Today and Most Played This Month leaderboards showing the most popular archive recordings across all feeds.

YouTube Integration
The latest videos from the Broadcastify YouTube Channel are featured on the archives landing page.

Dark & Light Mode
The new archives interface fully supports both dark and light themes, matching your portal preference.

How to Access Archives

Browse to any feed on Broadcastify and click the Archives button, or visit the archives landing page directly at
broadcastify.com/archives.

Notable Archives

The archives landing page also features a curated collection of notable incident recordings including coverage of major events such as the January 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires, Hurricane Helene, and many more.

We hope you enjoy the new experience. As always, feedback is welcome!

It was definitely a nice surprise! One thing I did notice was missing, unless I just plain didn't see it, is the setting to adjust playback speed. I'm not sure it's really needed with the waveform display though. The slider to adjust the display focus is a really nice touch.

Now that I've had a chance to use it some more, when it finishes playing the last (latest) archive file, it gets stuck at "Loading". The old player would just stop.

The layout is really nice! There's a lot of information in one screen.

What browser? OS? Feed? Timeframes?
