I would like to propose a feature for the console view of the new Broadcastify Console: that is to allow the user in the audio routing configuration to configure what local audio device to play audio over.

For example for me, I have multiple audio outputs with different speakers, and instead of mixing the audio and playing it out of the system default, it would be nice if the console would allow me to select which audio device each of the audio player's output to instead of just using the system default.

We don’t have access to you local audio devices that easily over the web.

However, I’m thinking about a local Mac / Windows app for calls. Thinking about it

AFAIK there a JavaScript/TypeScript API that allows you to get a list of devices and then assign it to the audio tag?

I'll look into it, but understand, this is feature that would literally be used by only a handful of people in the world, and could exponentially increase complexity for overall usage.

Someone should probably consider writing a native application for handle this type of stuff.

We are already juggling a number of dependency balls and cross browser support issues and I'm pretty confident that we're close to being as brittle as I'd like for advanced features in the browser.

Understood. Thank you for looking into it at all.
