This issue might be tied to SDRTrunk, but im not sure. So im posting it here too.

I am helping a friend with this feed. https://www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/34829

the issue started on v0.6.0 Alpha 7, but persists after updating to beta 2. the feed uses audio1.broadcastify.com.

This feed is normally up 24/7 but since October 21st at 9:40am it just refuses to connect.

It repeatedly says "connecting" then "disconnected". The SDRTrunk error log just says the same thing just over and over. We did delete the feed in sdrtrunk and readd it, issue still persists.

I do not see any errors on SDRTrunk that leads me to think its a software issue. Maybe something serverside?

(after post edit: the URL wont work when clicked for some reason? #Blocked in chrome tab? opening link in new tab worked great)

Sorry for the bump, just came across this post. Did you find a solution? What ISP do you all have?

I have the same issue on a feed running SDRTrunk on AT&T cellular, it will connect/disconnect repeatedly. I installed a VPN and had no problems after that, and have no issue at home on Kinetic (Windstream) fiber.

I was working with Dennis to do additional logging and see if I could find something. It seems like something to do with the way BCFY is handling traffic in between, or it’s not playing nice with CGNAT.

I've got the same issue on AT&T fiber. What VPN are you using?

Not sure, it's at a government office in my town, so I know it's a solid connection. Just out of the blue, no SDRTrunk signal, and if he pings audio9.broadcastify.com, it gets 50% packet loss / time outs

I got a chance to tinker around a bit. Disabled VPN and ran a ping test and no dropouts to audio1 or audio9 so that's not the issue there. I really don't know what could be causing it.

I've messaged Dennis privately, hopefully he can chime in a bit too and maybe we can track down the possible issue.

Update: when pinging audio1.broadcastify.com, he gets like 50& packet loss. But other broadcastify servers have no packet loss. We pinged Audio9,Broadcastify.com, my home IP, DNS IPs, etc. no packet loss except for audio1

I had no packet loss to either feed server nor any of my personal servers, but I still had dropouts. I actually tried SDRTrunk out on a second PC at a way different location, also on AT&T cellular, and had the same issue. Dennis sent me a test build with more verbose logging, and it's showing that I'm sending audio, then it shows "Routine disconnect requested from a connected state with a non-null streaming session" in the console. I'm honestly at a loss on why it keeps disconnecting. It has to be something with the way BCFY handles traffic with AT&T or vice versa.
