As of June 6, Brockville PD can be heard with no inversion, using straight audio, except they have a databurst at the beginning of there transmission, followed by the DTMF tones at the end of the transmission. I suspect they are about to test rolling inversion in the weeks to come. This is the same method SFalls pd used when they ran into problems with audio decyphering. They enabled a switch mode to security when wanting to speak under inversion. This remains to be seen and should be interesting in any problems that occur. Still be de-crypted though. Just interesting about the different test phases that these depts go through.

The SF Pol and the Brock Pol are using the same radio provider. Would it not be safe to assume that if the SF Pol couldn't get the system online, that the Brock Pol won't be able to also? They could just be having a radio problem at dispatch and everyone goes clear until the tech gets it fixed maybe. I'll see if I can check into this further.

As of June 8th, I heard the Brockville PD in Perth and they are back to inversion. I think their problem was a short lived one.

It probably was some kind of problem. I can now recieve them under inversion de-crpyted as normal followed by the DTMF tones from the mobiles.
When I heard them that one time I had the De-cryption on my system so I could de-scramble the voice inversion. I heard this databurst, so i shut the de-crpytion off and heard them in a clear mode. Anyways Brockville PD back to the way there were running.
