I believe brockville used to have DES encryption on ouput 142.935 ,but now use a voice inversion encryption (not often at all) the same as smithsfalls and perth (most of the time, or all infact). It has a datasystem which enables dispatch to tell which unit is dispatching, so on. I have a program on my computer which in enables me to decode voice inversion encryption, so i record the scanner on the computer then decode it, and voi -la, works great. Voice encryption has been around for years. Its a cheaper way to go , then DES is. (Digital Encryption System). I know that Highland communications looks after sf, and perth, i believe tordiff looks after Brockville, but could be mistaken.
