Broken BNC connector.

I have had my Pro-97 for a couple years now. Yesterday, I noticed my connector was loose, so I opened it up. To my dismay, I found the wire leading from the bottom contact had broken. I'm guessing I can either resolder it or send it to get repaired. Whats the best way to proceed?

If it's out of warranty, just solder it back.

How am I supposed to do that is such a small space? Plus, won't the connection just be liable to break again?

Depends what caused it to break. If it just worked itself loose and broke, no biggy. I had that happen with a Relm HS-200 a few years ago. Just tighten up the nut (a little thread lock maybe?) and re-solder. Good as new.
