😂 before I started this afternoon project, I thought about it for months, mainly because this is a $60k truck. As I was tightening the top portion of the Nmo I slipped off the two very large part of the nmo (do they make a tool?) and the pliers knocked this disk off the center of the nmo. There is a copper center piece sticking out that I assume is soldered in but I don’t see any! Even with a microscope. So I took a very small foil ball I made and sandwiched inbetween the disk and delrin and screwed the antenna on lol is there a easy way to fix this without having to remove the nmo and the silicone I used inside to seal it shut ?
The second picture is the type of FME nmo I am using, I like this because of a 3/8 hole only need to be made which means more surface area to grab when sandwiched also the coax with fme can be removed easy for install.
