Howdy folks, TGS 10000 to 10005 are most likely radio shop TGS. TGS 10076 to 10079 are most likely PD as well as TGS 12128 to 12136 . Still going over codeplug and Unitrunker / Scanner recording data. Hopefully this helps you guys out a bit.

Yesterday afternoon I heard an air unit which I'm not sure was Broward Papa and some ground units running around the north part of the county discussing the best channel to use and doing radio checks at different altitudes. I hate to break it to them, but all the channels are carried over the same repeaters and antennas. But they did mention a block of 4 encrypted and 3 clear channels.

I'm guessing the 4 encrypted ones are:
12128
12129
12146
12147

They were on 12136 when they said "switch over to 3", then they appeared on 10077.

Add 10075 to the list of clear channels that might be part of this group.

So if you're running Unitrunker you can see which units affiliated with those talkgroups and make some edumacated guesses about which channels are grouped together. They also mentioned working with D.E.A. FWIW. Knowing this will help the Broadcastify streamers lock out these talkgroups to stay within the terms of service.

I haven't heard FLFD for like a week now. Totally silent on their old talk groups, and I am getting nothing on the "maintenance move" talk groups on the New P25 system. What's up?

10:45 - I just heard Rescue 302 tell Fort Lauderdale fire dispatcher that he is transporting a patient to Broward General on talkgroup 5265 and she answered him. And now Engine-53 just cleared a call in North Lauderdale.

Sounds fine to me.

Current control channel is 853.9125MHz PLS CHK.

My scanner down in Key West (BCD996T) one day decided that it no longer wanted to receive the Boca Chica base P25 system. No matter what settings I changed it would not decode it, so I deleted it and reloaded from FreeScan and it worked like a champ ever since. Go figure it out, idk.

They were on the new county P-25 system last week on Tac-5 for main channel. This was during a slurry of issues with the Fort Lauderdale System. All LE stuff was on the LE Common talkgroups. As of Monday they are back on their own system.

Just a reminder FLFR is no longer using their Tac-B, Tac-C, ect for tac assignments. They are using the county tac channels, no rhyme or reason. Just in random order.

I have noticed multiple mass shooting drills on those tac channels instead of the dedicated training talkgroup(s).

Wilton Manors uses alternate B-codes for clearing out calls without a report.

For example, 10-98 B-6. I have no idea what it means, I just refer to them a vitamin codeouts.

Twice I heard Margate PD close out a call with "10-98 Whiskey-Whiskey". Maybe each agency has their own codes.

I recently purchased a BCD436HP and am able to receive all cities around me but Pembroke Pines. on the Broward County Public Services I did a full database scan and it never seems to appear. Am I missing something? It doesn't show encrypted.

The Broward County Public Safety (P25) does have PP PD which I receive but is extremely quiet. When I used to monitor on my PSR-800 there was a lot more traffic with PD. I know there have been a lot of changes recently, did I miss an update and am scanning the wrong system?
