Pemb Pines PD and Fire are both on the new P25 system. Make sure you have them enabled on your scan list as they appear as separate entries in the database. Im not that familiar with Sentinel but I know that has been a topic of discussion.

@APX8000, thank you for the reply. I did create a favorites list with only PPPD items but still no joy. I did figure out that the scanner will pick up all the digital items from Broward County Public Services that are Motorola Type II SmartZone as well as the digital items in Broward County Public Safety (P25) but anything analog on either site will not be picked up. Will post a question in the Uniden group since this sounds more like a programming issue and not a location based. Thanks again.

Monitor 12075. This is dispatch. Most of the others aren't used too much. 12078 is Detectives. Active especially at night.

@JANFINE, thank you! I wasnt sure if I had missed something with the programming or if it really was that quiet. What happened to all the TAC's, Talk's and other talkgroups? Its like everything just disappeared and never resurfaced. If you dont mind my asking, what scanner are you using? Any other issues you know of?

Hey i got a SDR and I'm trying to setup BSO however I'm seeing 2 choices in the import from RR. One called Broward County Public services which uses 855 frequencies but for some reason its show it as Motorola Type II Smartzone, or are they using the Broward County public safety (p25) which uses frequencies around 770 mhz.

Yep. I ordered 2. Having issues getting signals but next week gonna order external antennas.

maybe it was said up in a previous post - but you will need the FASTLANE version of DSD+ to trunk track and decode a P25 Phase 2 TDMA system. The free version does not support P25p2.

Yep, I use SDRTrunk for Broward.
Wow, where did you find out about that great software?!? How's that working out for you?!? Have you tried Trunking Recorder, I hear it's pretty sweet when the two are teamed up!!! :ROFLMAO:

They are worth the wait. Got mine on amazon and used gift cards.
Using 2 with SDRTrunk for the Broward P25 II Simulcast, and the other SDR# Sharp with the scanner plugin for the VHF/UHF Analog.
Discone and Yagi in the attic into a Comet Duplexer 20 foot drop into the rack.

(Edit: In my opinion....) From a VHF/UHF perspective - the (real) v3 RTL-SDR and AirSpy R2 are the only ones that are worth the $.

Edit: are you using a FM trap (filter) on the input to your SDR? I seem to recall that at least a few of the dongles I tried gave similar results to your picture without an FM trap....again, just my experience.
