I need some help because I'm getting mixed info... Is Broward County's Public Services (Sheriff/Fire) system Site 1 rebanded or is it Normal trunking? Some people say it is rebanded, some say it isn't, I have tried different modes on my scanner between normal and custom/rebanded and both doesn't give me any problems receiving it, but I'd like to know for sure, is Broward's system rebanded or not? I would say no since most rebanded systems are supposed to be between 851-854 MHz and Broward is 855-866 MHz...

Just for everyone's reference, the Broward County Public system is NOT, I repeat NOT rebanded, it's a normal trunked system... I just got a new BCT-15X scanner and when I selected rebanding it didn't work but when I switched back to Normal trunking it worked again...

Today I was in Broward with a radio that was programmed 9 years ago, & hasn't seen a computer since. It seemed to work just fine. GARY N4KVE
