Broward rebanding, and digital

Hello, Does anyone know when or if Browaed TRS is rebanding. Also since Hollyweird has gone MOT digital, will all of Broward follow?? I need to know which scanner to buy 246, br330 or 396?? Thank you, Austin

Broward will eventually have to reband. The question is when. I would say not for at least a year, maybe longer. I would get the BCD396 if you can afford it. If you want to listen to Hollywood, a digital scanner is a must. Who knows if Broward will be digital once they've rebanded. Right now they don't have enough digital capable repeaters to make everything digital.

Hi Ken, Thanks for your reply. My first choice actually is the 330 from what I've read. My plan "B" was to just wait for rebanding and then buy a new scanner. The flaw in that is, who would buy a Sony Wavehawk or BC245 then. Thank you again, Austin Pembroke Pines Fla.
