I scanned in Brown Co. this week. Mostly the PD dispatch on the MARCS system and FD on the published VHF. They use the medical helicopter alot, like daily, and they are active on their 400 freq and the MARCS system. Locals are learning the Brown Co. jail shut down this week for door lock repairs. It could be three or more months to fix them. All inmates sent to Butler Co. Maybe more scanner traffic due to that situation? No other scanning action on other bands but I did see many homes with Ham towers and antennas. Some really nice setups in Hamersville/Bethel/Feesburg and Mt Orab. Gonna have to search the ham operators there in the database and try to figure out who's there. Really nice area, great farms and small town Mom and Pop shops etc'. Georgetown BTW has historical importance as it was the town General Grant from the Civil War attended school at as a child. The school house is a museum now. Very interesting stuff.
