Has anyone used this antenna for a base on MURS, the gain says 7.0 db, but haven't been able to find any reviews on this particular antenna.
Any information appreciated.

What antenna are you refering to? You did not provide a link and google did not help me either.

OK - I think I found it. Its a "Tram" antenna and NOT a Browning. See below

Tram VHF Base Antenna 1491 - CB Radios Plus

The 1491 specs look ok to me but its constructed of three sections that attach together.

I do not have experience with this but do with other similar designed brands(comet, diamond, maxrad, etc.)

I like single section antennas, usually less problems over time with them in general.
