That was not what I was looking for. I am capable of locating my own frequencies. :x

I guess I need to elaborate... I am almost positive there are three plan levels, and when the plan is activated they announce it over the radio "Plan One, Plan One, Plan One". What I would like to know is what this means?

I haven't heard the plan system on the Columbus County main channels - I don't get to hear them regularly - but Acme-Delco-Riegelwood FD(just off Hwy 74) uses atleast 5 "plans" as part of their dispatch announcements.

Plan 1 and 2 are announced on a regular basis. I heard a plan 5 call for the first time the other day, and have never heard a plan 4 call.

The plans seem to relate to how the members should respond ... to the station or directly to the location of the call, and which equipment to roll.

I get to hear Acme - Delco - Riegelwood quite regularly, since their repeater input - 158.940 / 162.2 - is rebroadcast through my local EMS' north tower repeater on 154.025 / 107.2.

I have contemplated e-mailing someone with the ADR FD to ask for more-specific information on the plans, but I have not located anyone - officials, dept members or a fd webpage - that includes an e-mail address. I'm inclined not to bother county fire officials for this type of information.

Jeff, that's interesting about the Lancaster Co SC EMS frequency. I monitor it also, as I regularly travel highway 521 from highway 75, north to Charlotte most mornings. I had heard that "plan" stuff, and didn't know what it was. I also go to the Wilmington area often , and am familiar with Acme-Delco area. I use an Icom 207H dual band transceiver, with PL tones programmed, so I don't hear too much other than the Union Co NC and Lancaster Co SC agencies........

Vern - It took me a bit of listening to figure out who the LC EMS north repeater was rebroadcasting (the south rptr uses a different input tone).

I used to run Hwy 74 over to Wilmington occasionally, and recognized some of the Columbus County locations I was hearing.

If you listen to 155.265 / 123.0 R, which is used by Kershaw Co Sheriffs (tac) and Buffalo and Pisgah Rescue, you'll sometimes hear Columbus Co rescue dispatch (155.235 / 123.0 R) being rebroadcast. The Kershaw rptr is picking up the Columbus Co input (150.775 / 123.0).

plan 2 and 5

i can tell you plan 5 is "I need more help because there is a structure fire" and Plan 2 is " get your tails up here, there is a medical call. i listened to that on a medical today where it took 5 pages to get a member in route then 10 times of a emt paging out "plan 2 plan 2 plan 2 need some help at the firehouse." sad it takes that many pages since none of the rescue departments covering our district only need a 2nd page once in a blue moon and most of the fd's in the center and middle end never need a 2nd page it seems  what can i say We're hose jockey's 4 life :) :!:
