Brunswick County Trunked?

I see that Brunswick County may have a VHF/UHF trunked system going into operation. I travel to the Southport area a few times a year, and would like to monitor it.

Is the old non trunked system I have programmed from a couple of years ago still in use?

the old system is in use, for now. they've been telling us the loyal public servants ( fire, Ems Etc) that it will be up in 6 months, but they have been telling us that sionce oh lets say 2001 as soon as they trunk it i will hand you the system freq and talkgroup id

Alrighty, thanks Drew. I'll be down that way again in about 6 weeks to visit family in Southport, and see the Navy Blue Angels at Wilmington.
