Happening now: Caroline & Spotsylvania fire units, and state fire wardens are working a large brush fire off Macedonia Rd in Caroline County, near the Spotsylvania County line. Also, EMS units enroute to assist residents experiencing difficulty breathing. Caroline and Spotsylvania officers have established a joint command post. Spotsylvania working on calling in off-duty firefighters to staff some of their stations.
