Brush Fire St. Augustine

Since 2 pm today, firefighters from the D.O.F, St. Johns, and Flagler county have been trying to contain a brush fire at US 1 and County Road 206

I was listening on DOF/FR. Too bad I couldn't get the online feed going and plus having computer problems.

I was also listening to FR and DOF. I could hear them pretty good, i wasn't too far away from the fire. DOF had tons of units back there, even a helicopter that was scooping water out of a lake right next to us 1. It was a pretty big smoke plume, you could see it perfectly from 312, but once you got to 206/US1 it was a smokey mess. Glad they stopped the fire before it go to those peoples houses though.

I hear ya. I didn't see any smoke on SR 312 than again where I was at the wind was blowing NE.
