With the hot/dry weather comes increase in brush fires; two today in the
Ottawa area and doubless many in other areas. No relief expected until at
least sunday.
Latest fire is still burning in the Hunt Club/Moodie Dr. area, around the
NCC Stoney Swamp area. Ottawa FS is super busy with tankers, ATVs,
a bulldozer, and I heard a couple of MNR helicopters are involved.
Action is on Ottawa EDACS but may be on other frequencies (OFM was
mentioned). I'm checking NCC and MNR lowband (which is sure to have
other unrelated activity).
