I am here in Texas, Monitoring Grayson Co. Sheriff (154.7850 PL: 173.8 ) who happened to be chatting with a Bryan Co. Sheriff deputy on the same frequency. Do All Bryan Co Sheriff mobile radio's have access to Grayson Co. Texas SO? or just Supervisors? How does that work? and Is it just Grayson Co. or other Texas Agencies too without the use of Inter-City or Inter-Agency?

Thanks

Unless things have changed since I lived in Wichita County 12 years ago,
I know at least some of the SO cars had 155.49.
I have heard both the Wichita Falls DPS and Burkburnett PD talk to
Lawton OHP on 155.37 and receive 155.67.
Wichita Falls DPS still has a low band ground plane on the roof
for listening to OHP (I don't think they can transmit) and Lawton OHP
monitored 155.445. Sometimes they would even talk to eachother on
44.7/155.445.
I don't know what they are doing in other border areas.

Thankies Tom!

I Know in Texas At least, many SO's have the Bordering SO's frequencies in their radio's in fact Fannin Co. Sheriff have DPS on at least 13 and 16 on their 16 Channel radios.

I know Texas agencies arnt supposed to go into Oklahoma while in chase. I have heard this like 3 times now with Grayson Co. so last night Grayson Co. 911 transfered a Celullar Caller from Grayson to Bryan Co. so while GCSO was sitting at the damm after the caller (who was chasing a hit&run) went into Oklahoma. Bryan Co. Deputies got the car stopped then eventually a Bryan Co. Deputy Bryan 13 or 30 Called Grayson 7 on the repeater.

The only reason I brought this up with the Okies here was to see if Grayson Co. were in the Bryan Co. Radio Channel line-up. which would have been good RR-DB info.
