Btc15 Please help

The problem I have with my btc15 is that it searches the preprogrammed (tv band, public safety exct.) and the two systems I have programed. I have looked in the manual and can't figure how to turn the preprogrammed bands off.

Take a look at the bottom of the display see if PL DT HP BT are displayed if they are hit the POL and HP button until they turn off.

theres none of those at the bottom

Push the Function Knob (big one), move it left or right, then scroll to the one you want to turn off, and push L/O twice.
