Baofeng BTECH GMRS-V2 / BAOFENG UV-82 Programing Question

I have a set of Frequencies that I used CHIRP to upload onto both a BTECH GMRS-V2 radio and a BAOFENG UV-82 radio. The GMRS-V2 will hear transmissions from the UV-82, but will not transmit to the same frequency. Tried to look at all the codes and everything seems to match. Any thoughts as to what setting I may have incorrect?

The BTECH can only transmit on GMRS frequencies. It can receive on other frequencies covered by the UV-82.

There may be, but I don't know, I don't buy those radios.

Before you decide to "jailbreak" it, make sure you understand what FCC Type Acceptance is and why "jailbreaking" a radio isn't always legal or a good idea.

You can try this. Baofeng UV-5R - The RadioReference Wiki. It might work. It might not work. It depends on what firmware BTECH uses.
