Buchanan County/St. Joseph TRS alt CC??

Does anyone ever get an alt CC of 853.575 sometimes?? It seems like once in awhile I get it to pop up as a CC, but then I turned off the scanner and back on it seemed to go back to 853.825?! Any ideas??

I have noticed that most Motorla type I and II systems rotate control channels every 24 hours and most EDACS and P25 systems don't rotate them very often.
If you are not able to receive a system at all, check ALL the channels to see if there is a new control channel. Don't blindly rely on the red and blue control channel listings in the database. They could change and database could be wrong until somebody submits the new data.

Yeah, I haven't noticed much of a change, but it shows up and lasts for just a few minutes... it's like a failsoft or something?! I'm referring to their P25 system.

I don't know what they are doing. Probably doesn't have anything to do with failsoft. When that happens there is no control channel broadcast at all.
