Buckingham County

Saw a post in the Cumberland County thread regarding Buckingham County SO. Started a new thread for discussion.

I am located in Eastern Fluvanna and was previously able to hear the Buckingham SO on Analog VHF 151.310 somewhat clearly. After reading that they might have gone to P25 conventional, I put the frequency in my scanner and got several DMR hits with some audio. I was able to hear some of the decoded audio but the signal is very weak. Looks like its a CC5 on Slot 1.

Very interesting if they did decide to go with DMR.

I'm in Arvonia and have set my scanner to digital and I get nothing but the digital noise like your listening to a digital signal on an analog scanner. I am usong a TRX-1 scanner. I only have the option on my scanner to set it to digital or analog. It's acting like it's set to analog even though it's programmed for digital. I dont have the option fopr P25 or DMR since it's not trunked. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I did get confirmation from my neighbor who is a state trooper that Buckingham went DMR.
