Buddy List

I may not have done enough research yet, but thought I would ask anyway. Is the buddy list enabeled and if so, what does it do? Will it notify you if someone logs in, or what?

Basically, all the Buddy List does is let you specify users as "Buddies"; there are no notifcations AFAIK.

Users added to your Buddy List will show in the User's Online list (at the bottom of the forum main page) with a "+" in front of their name. For example, if I were on your Buddy List, my name would appear as "+MarkEagleUSA".

I am embarrassed to say that I don't know what it does either. I do know that the ignore list can be useful, as it does exactly what it says, ignores the person (something the moderators (sadly) cannot invoke).

According to the WinAmp vBulletin FAQ, there isn't much to the Buddy List anyway, but as I said, the Ignore list is useful.

Ignore list

Ignore list does not work. I told my wife I could not hear her because she was on my Ignore List. She then showed me a new use for pepper spray and toilet paper.
