Wow ! > have a motorola minitor 4 with buffalo fire f-1 & f-2 installed - f-1 - main dispatch - freq - 424.2250 mhz
f-2 - fire ground - freq- 424.3500 mhz
* tones - installed - a tone - 1669.0

here goes> on channel - f-1 - dispatch / with these tones installed , the pager alerts on the [ 3rd tone ] note ****for all alarm of fire calls > buffalo fire sends out a 3 tone set than announces the fire call. Yes the 3rd tone sent , the pager [which is set on tone alert ] activates setting out the pager with a loud beep [also lights the amplified charger light] been listening to this for about a month now , before passing on this information. This is great , you don't have to listen to all the ems/ basic radio chatter , thus in turn be alerted only for fire alert radio traffic. Happen to stumble on this find.
