Buffalo Fire Radio Question , N.Y

On fire dispatch F-1 - 424.2250 - 565 dpl . Has anyone been hearing open keying on and off > audio with like short beeps , like 8 in a row than stops.
Thinking it my have something to do with CAD system, maybe. Do not think its coming from outside paging service due to 565 dpl active.
any ideas on this .

I have heard this also. Sounds to me like one of the dispatch consoles is malfunctioning.

Is it not the occasional station identifier beeps that happen on all BFD channels every so often?

The BFD radio system has remote voting receivers located around the city. You are hearing one of the fiber or microwave links to the receivers failing.

just found out what was causing the beeps in past on buffalo fire frequencies , just today started again , found out the batteries in the repeaters was going back , they started replacing them today , all fine now. case closed
