Here's another buffer amp circuit. This one looks interesting ...

Pros ...

Stereo (separate buffer for left and right channels)
Gain select (1X and 10X)
Level adjust
High input impedance (1.0 mega-ohms)
Low construction cost
150 volt input protection

Cons ...

Requires +/- 12 volts for power.
Uses TL082 op amp (not really a con but some folks don't like this chip)

More circuit than you need.

Get a book like "101 OpAmp Projects" and any general purpose FET input OpAmp.

You can run an OpAmp from a single sided supply if you make your own reference (V+/2).
