Just put up a pretty amazing 20 meter delta loop
I read a good bit about delta loops and figured I'd try one out Saturday. I borrowed a bunch of wire from a friend but still had to go to Lowe's ($57 for 500'!).
I ran it through my trees only about 15' high at its highest points, and there is about 135' or so of wire through those trees, finally settling into a triangular shape. I have 300 ohm wire feeding this wire into an MFJ 949 tuner.
Saturday and last night I contacted Croatia, Italy, Venezuela, Russia, and all over the place. DXing seems to be very good on 20 meters on this thing! I had the Russian contact around 18.12 and maybe one 40 meter DX contact, but for the money I am VERY impressed.
