Built a .p96 file and have a few questions.

I just built a .p96 file for the State of Delaware using Win96 and the web import feature from this site. I used 3 banks for each County, the first bank for County specific talkgroups and the next 2 banks for statewide talkgroups. I do have a few talkgroup questions:

I noticed that in NCC 3184's Zone is N-Disp and so is 14192 (Fire Marshall Dispatch). In Sussex County, Fire Marshall Dispatch 14256 is S-FMDISP. Should the 3 TG's be listed as K-FMDISP, N-FMDISP AND S-FMDISP or K-DISP, etc.?

Similar to the first question, the Kent Fire Dispatch TG 3344 has a Zone of K-FIRDSP. The others are just N-DISP and S-DISP. Should they also be -FIRDSP?

So far it seems to be working well even though I can only receive NCC (I live in Springfield, Delco, PA). If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them.

Has anyone else built a .p96 file for Delaware? Do you usually use 3 banks per county or do you just limit the groups? Has anyone seen the zone discrepancies I've listed? I can upload the file if anyone wants to see it.

The designations in the RR database are (I believe) are from the system design template. However, many users have had their respective radios display to reflect their own preferences. 14192 N-DISP (fire marshall) is displayed on their radios as N-FMSL. K-FIRDSP is the correct display.

I've been recieving both NCC and Kent county on the same CC (868.2125) from home in Middletown Twp, not far from Springfield, both are pretty clear and from certain spots at work in Philly they come in well also. I only monitor fire systems and have my at home v-scanner pretty full, so I have all of DE (fire) in one bank.

I built one V-Scanner folder with:
0 - Delco Fire
1 - Delco PD
2 - PSP
3 - Delco Misc/HWY/Security, etc.
4 - Philly PD
5 - Philly Fire/Mun
6 - NCC (N groups)
7 - NCC Statewide 1
8 - NCC Statewide 2
9 - Fed Gov

My Delaware V-Scanner folder has:
0 - Blank
1 - NCC (N groups)
2 - NCC Statewide 1
3 - NCC Statewide 2
4 - Kent (K groups)
5 - Kent Statewide 1
6 - Kent Statewide 2
7 - Sussex (S groups)
8 - Sussex Statewide 1
9 - Susses Statewide 2

I really wasn't paying attention as to whether I was receiving Kent County or not. I'll have to try it again.

I built the file on 5/27 and checked it against the 5/30 changes (which appeared to be description changes). As long as it's ok with the moderators and posters (doctordave, audiodave1,h8digitalradio, etc.), I'd be happy to. When do you need it by?

You can post the file here. Zip it or add .txt to the p96 file. You can also submit the file to www.henney.com the CHM website where there are other files posted for DE and other areas.

I had a p96 file posted but it's no longer in the RR archives.

I've been using this file for the past few weeks since we've been traveling in and out of Delaware. It's working good, but I have a question. I seem to hear all of the fire/EMS activity fine, but only rarely hear the actual dispatching. Are the Fire/EMS units dispatched on this system or on another system (like Delaware County, PA)?

Dispatches/paging for fire/EMS in Kent 151.400 Sussex 453.700 New Castle can be heard on 33.78 but this will change soon I hear they are going to a new paging system.

Here's an update to the file. The TRS is the same, but I added some analog/conventional frequencies in Bank 0.
