Uniden really should look into having some sort of special 800 mhz band filter for its next generation of scanners. I am sure that many of us on here run into the problem of not being able to hear transmissions on the 700/800 mhz band due to cell tower interference. It would be good if this filter could be built into the radio with an option to turn on or off just like the attenuator. As more and more agencies move to this band at the same time more cell towers go up, I think this could be a key implementation to helping scanners perform better.
