We just had a new P25 II system come on-line here (Seattle/King Co).

I'd like to build the SDRTrunk alias list for it, but it'll take an eternity to do it via SDR Trunk's playlist editor.
I tried to use SDR Trunk Builder, but it looks like it generates the items in the list out of order.
Doesn't seem to 'fit the bill'.

Anyone know of a good way to import/convert a .csv into an SDRTrunk alias list?
Or, at least a hint on what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks

You can't "import" it in the way you're hoping, but the correct format to follow is the xml file in the.
You can find it in the following path on your pc..... C:\Users\PROFILENAME/SDRTrunk\playlist

What do you mean by "List Out Order"?
Looking at the alias list (yes Reconrider, at C:\Users\PROFILENAME/SDRTrunk\playlist), the generated html from SDR Trunk builder has the individual fields in a different order than what I see in default.xml.

A while back took a bunch of rid's from a unitrunker exported csv and played with it excel. I deleted all but the rid and the text tag. I arranged it to the format sdrtrunk builder was looking for and copy / pasted into the builder. Backed up my original xml prior. Some reason I remember there being an issue with the color or something. I opened the original and used a color from that. It worked out pretty good and I had what I needed in sdrtrunk. I remember have to try in a few different spots before it worked. Did this a while ago and am at kids soccer now so I can't look on my pc. I do have a bunch more radio ids I am looking to get into sdrtrunk, so with in the next week or so I am going to have at it again.

Has anyone found a solution? I have a couple thousand ID's that I would like to add, but I'm not finding any easy method to import them. It sure would be nice if I could just click on the alias box next to the ID and add them like you can with Proscan.
