Do any of the members out there have anything (frequencies) for Bullock County Sheriff? I've searched the RR Database, FCC Database, CityFreq, and Googled this topic. And I've come up empty. I get PD frequencies for Union Springs and I've found that the SO is located in Union Springs, could the PD and SO share frequencies?

Any help would be appreciated.

Its possible that the Union Springs PD and the Bullock County SO are sharing the same frequencies. Many of the smaller towns - like Jemison and Thorsby in Chilton County - are dispatched by the County SO, so its possible that the reverse is true for Bullock County SO. Have you listened to the Union Springs frequencies to see if the SO is on there.

Or, they may be using SouthernLinc exclusivly......

Bullock Co Sheriff

Most of Bullock Co SO's radio traffic is usually heard on 155.010.
Union Springs PD usually will dispatch calls to SO units on 155.010.
When I have a chance, I will check with a trooper who works in Bullock Co to see what he can tell me.

Bullock Co. S.O. used to be on 155.640 years ago haven't been there in 10 years.
Thanks Dave....I've had no joy on this one yet. I've gotten a little traffic on 155.73 (Union Springs) but at this point I haven't been able to discern if the S.O. is also using this or not.

See above Warren...thanks for the reply. I'm still monitoring to see if I get any hits on anything. But like you...I wonder if they have gone to SouthernLinc also.

Bullock County SO is using 155.37 or is it 155.73 I cant remember any more what the frequency is but it is the main dispatch for USPD (Chan 2) but most of their comms is handled over Southernlinc because everything in Bullock County is done on simplex so it is next to impossible to hear them. Its bad when I have to call the dispatcher and ask them what the deputies are getting into (Yes I am one of those all familure voices that you hear on 3rd Shift going 10 thirty nine all night)

Thanks RuthlessGFx,
I had kinda figured this might be the case. Seems like everyone is going thee Sothernlinc route. I see this is your first post...welcome aboard.

Thank you for the welcome, just happened across the site yesterday... And yes, unfortunately BCSO is going to Southernlink for the majority of all comms and piggy backing on the USPD main dispatch for the rest. Although you wont hear to much out of them generally. Let me know if you guys have any more inquires let me know!
