Burlington FDP & Hamilton FDP call share

I sent the following info for submission to the database but it is kinda confusing so I will post it here.

When Burlington Fire Department & Hamilton FDP do a call-share Burlington units are asked to go to ITAC2. Fiddling around I found that ITAC2 is actually Hamilton FDP's Tac2.

Heard a call for both FDP's on the 403 west of King Road on Wed Jan 28 at around 9pm

From past experiences on the ITAC calls, it whatever TAC they are assigned at the initial dispatch, then patched over with Halton. Some times I hear them on the ITAC channels listed in the database under Hamilton. Hope this helps.

I used to hear them over on the I-TAC channels when responding to Skyway incidents.

Generally they patched whatever talkgroup Hamilton FS was on to the I-TAC channel.

IIRC, I-TAC2 was the channel generally used.

I concur...I heard on numerous occasions BFD on an ITAC frequency patched with a Hamilton TRS talkgroup. Interestingly, I never heard it happen the other way around.
