Burn Ban lifted for NW Calif

The burn ban was lifted by CDF for NW california...

It may still be in effect for other area's...

Staff reduction is starting...aircraft available until Oct 15th, which can be extended...(The Oakland Hills Fire was in a hot October)...

That's why I said it might still be in effect for other area's...such as Riverside & San Bernadino counties, and inland OC...I know those winds rip through those areas...

This burn ban lift was for NW (Northwest) California....Del Norte, Humboldt, Western Trinity, and Mendocino Counties, and possibly others...

I recorded OVER 2.5 inches of rain in the last 4 days (I read the gauge at 1600 hrs), so the fuels have gotten a good soaking in my area...

YMMV...Your Mileage (conditions) May Vary...

Did you guys get any rain south of SLO or Santa Barbara...???

On the backside of the storm front, the scattered showers are giving way to more sunshine today (at 1100 hrs)
