According to PDF attachments on a different Busch Gardens license, the radio system is being upgraded to "digital trunked." The emission codes indicate MOTOTRBO. They will probably use a Capacity Plus system.

If you have access to DMRDecode, you could run it on the frequencies, and get some information about the system. Here's a link to download the program:

DMRDecode Download

Here's the link to the Busch Gardens license - notice the modification pending:

ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional License - KWE921 - SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment LLC DBA Water Country USA

And here's a link to another BG license, which already indicates TRBO is being used:

ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional License - WPXN291 - Sea World Parks & Entertainment LLC DBA Busch Gardens Willia

Let us know what you hear.

Thanks,
Dave

Is this just security & safety, or is this the maintenance, vendors, parking, railway, everything?

Also, IIRC, the trams and some auxiliary services used VHF channels, separate from the BGW UHF conventional system. Are they moving up to TRBO as well on UHF?

I don't know if it's everyone, but I caught something like twenty-two groups in use (only the identified ones were added to the database). Water Country is also using the system, and they have several groups of their own.

When I was last there, Busch Gardens was using a Con+ system, and Water Country was using a Cap+ system. In the beginning, Busch Gardens and Water Country were both using the Con+ system. At some point, Water Country started using a separate Cap+ system.
