I mistakenly used the incorrect mains charger for this radio, and the radio still works but all audio is no longer working. I should have used a DC 6V 1A and plugged in a DV 16V 1.3A. Would there be an obvious component to check and swap out to fix this?

I would look at the power supply to the audio chip first. Perhaps some component there blew. Or check the chip itself. Different chips may have different tolerances for power fluctuations. Or a component blew that provides the audio power, but similar components in line with the microprocessor and other circuitry didn't blow. These are just guesses, as I'm not a tech.

This guy has a video where he takes apart a Bush DAB which wasn't working at all. It might help you at least become acquainted with how the power supply works in the radio. It's a 30+ minute vid, i didn't watch the whole thing, but it might help you get in the ballpark.:

Looking at a schematic of another DAB radio, which uses different voltages (9V and 3V mostly), the audio chip in some DAB radios may be able to handle more than the main chip.

Either way, if it's just a fried cap or something, you might be able to see it and fix it.

Others here will have better ideas about this, I'm sure.

Did you smell anything when this happened? Have you had it apart yet to look for obviously failed components?
