About a week ago I ran an Expert/SSH update command on a Pi 3B. PiStar 4.1.5/20211111 didn't have any updates but the OS rolled up to the recently released Buster version. Aside from a long ~4 minute pause while processing "triggers" the update completed successfully. All is well.

I note a few fixes. The disk opens in a rw state, and properly exits to a ro state.

Last night another SSH update as a test, a few Buster updates and no delay completing.

I haven't tried rolling up to Buster on my Pi Zero hotspots yet, but given the long "trigger" pause I think I'll make a full SD card backup first.

HTH. Your mileage may vary.

As you already know Tom, I'm not in the position to keep up with what you're doing. I will follow the thread carefully, as others should, to learn. :)
