PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. (AP) - A mistake made by a man fueling his boat sparked a fire that destroyed four boats and damaged four others at the Beaver Lake marina, authorities said.

Two people were taken to an Omaha hospital with minor injuries Sunday, said Cass County Sheriff's Office spokesman Scott Peterson.

The fire started after a man forgot to turn on the blower of his boat's motor while fueling about 3 p.m. Gas fumes built up inside the motor, and it exploded when it was switched on, Peterson said.
