Because they are using an uphaul / winch as the page mentioned no EMS ships have that and because of the altitude they are operating at during the rescue.

0800hrs Sunday: Crash site has been located and all search aircraft are cancelling.

The Civil Air Patrol found the wreckage Sunday morning of a small plane bound from Addison, Texas to Telluride on Mt. Wilson.

Col. Greg Cortum of the Colorado Civil Air Patrol said there were no survivors.

A San Miguel County team was preparing to be taken to the crash site on the 14,246-foot high mountain about 10 miles southwest of Telluride.

Cortum said the plane had left Texas on Friday and refueled in Taos, N.M. He said he did not know how many people were on board.

SUMMIT COUNTY - A 56-year-old man was killed Saturday in an ATV accident near Wise Mountain.

Clenten Kayle, Jr. was killed when his Polaris Sportsman ATV flipped over backwards, Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson said.

Kayle was wearing a helmet at the time, but suffered a fatal closed head injury, Richardson said.

Kayle had met with his brother and some friends around 11:00am Saturday to go four-wheeling near Wise Mountain. The call for help came in around 2:40pm Saturday afternoon.

Kayle lived in Broomfield and worked as a division president for Lennar Homes in Denver.

According to the coroner's office, the death was ruled accidental.
